Been in Prilep

Prilep: the city of marble and tobacco. Coming down from the mountainous road from Veles, you'll see some chuncks been taken out of hills when you get close to Prilep. It's the site where the marble and famous white stone (this probably has a name, sorry I don't know it) is taken. In the city center at almost every corner of the street you'll be able to see a statue of some sort. Different styles from different artists. I can't really go into all these details here. First, because I'm not that much of an expert, and second as I think the photos would be more interesting to look at. The third reason right now would be that I'm in a little hurry, so time limits me also.

About the tobacco: if you walk or drive through the city you will see the drying racks all around Prilep. Didn't take a photo of these (yet), so don't expect them to see when you're clicking on the photo below to start the slideshow. What is it that you can expect? A few shots from Monastery Sv. Archangel Mihail, some dogs, hill views and... sigh, again... a disturbing little garbage dump. It's what it is. Enjoy watching the slideshow anyway.
